Decrease in salmon export price

In the period from 7 December – 13 December the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 49.05 per kilo. This is a decline of 2.0 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period. The exported volume increased, and the export value totalled over NOK 1 billion.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 20 949 tonnes in the period 7 December – 13 December, up 5.8 per cent compared to the period 30 November – 6 December..

Norway exported 563 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 47.68 per kilo in the period 7 December – 13 December.
