Increase in the external loan debt
From July to August the external debt to non-financial enterprises, municipalities and households experienced an increase of NOK 6,0 billion, to a total of NOK 504,5 billion. The public enterprises long term loan debt stood for the main part of the increase.
The public enterprises increased their external loan debt with NOK 8,8 billion to 148,1 billion. It was the short-term loan debt that increased with 9,2 billion to 60,0 billion. At the same time the private enterprises decreased their loan debt to foreign countries by NOK 2,8 million to 349,1 billion.
