Increase in the external loan debt
From September to October, the external debt to non-financial enterprises, municipalities and households increased by NOK 11.2 billion to NOK 548.0 billion. Private enterprises' short term loan debt accounted for the majority of the increase.
The private enterprises increased their external loan debt with NOK 10.4 billion to 375.9 billion. It was the short term loan debt that increased the most with 6.9 billion to a total of 74.1 billion. At the same time, the public enterprises increased their loan debt to foreign countries by NOK 0.9 million to 164,9 billion.
