Decrease in the external loan debt

From October to November the external debt to non-financial enterprises, municipalities and households experienced a decrease of NOK 12,6 billion, to a total of NOK 534,1 billion. The private enterprises’ long term loan debt stood for the main part of the decrease.

The private enterprises decreased their external loan debt with NOK 8,3 billion to 367,3 billion. It was the long term loan debt that decreased with 8,2 billion to 300,6 billion. At the same time the public enterprises decreased their loan debt to foreign countries by NOK 5,3 million to 159,6 billion.
