Continued growth in Retail sales
The seasonally-adjusted volume index of retail sales increased by 1.0 per cent from January to February 2017. This follows an increase of 1.4 per cent from December last year to January this year.

The long-term trend shows a relatively flat trend back to the summer of 2014.
Working-day adjusted figures show that retail sales decreased by 0.9 per cent in the period December 2016 - February 2017 compared to the same period in 2015 - 2016.
