Continued increase in retail sales

The seasonally-adjusted volume index of retail sales increased by 0.6 percent from July to August 2018. This follows an increase of 0.5 percent from June to July 2018.

The long-term trend in the retail sales  has increased by 3.6 per cent since its turning point in May 2016.

Working-day adjusted

Working-day adjusted figures show that retail sales increased by 0.3 per cent in the period June 2018 – August 2018 compared to the same period in 2017.
