Increase in hairdressing and other beauty treatment

New figures tell us that the local kind-of-activity-units in hairdressing and other beauty treatments had a turnover of NOK 10.3 billion, a moderate increase of 4.2 per cent compared to 2015.

The 8 620 units employed 18 615 persons, an increase of 1.3 per cent, according to Other service statistics, structural business statistics.
Physical well-being activities had a turnover of NOK 1.0 billion in 2016. This is an increase of 5 per cent compared to 2015.

NOK 2.5 billion for repairs
The local kind-of-activity units within repair of computers and personal household goods had a turnover of NOK 1.2 billion, a decrease by 4.9 per cent compared to 2015. The group repair of computers and communications equipment had a turnover of NOK 1.3 billion, a decrease in turnover of 0.9 per cent in the period. The employment decreased by 5.8 per cent to 999 persons.
