Sales of engine fuel for NOK 2.3 billion

The petrol stations sold engine fuel and lubricants for NOK 2.3 billion in November 2006. This was a growth of 5.1 per cent compared with the same month in 2005. The total turnover for petrol stations in Norway was NOK 3.1 billion in November 2006.

Compared with November 2005, the turnover increased by 4.6 per cent or NOK 139 million. The product group food service rose by 9.5 per cent in the same period, while the product groups car equipments and everyday commodities increased by 4.8 and 2.6 per cent respectively.

NOK 37.4 billion

The first eleven months last year, the petrol stations in Norway sold for NOK 37.4 billion. From this, engine fuel and lubricants made NOK 27.6 billion. The increase in turnover for engine fuel and lubricants was 9.5 per cent from the first eleven months in 2005 to the first eleven months in 2006. In this period, workshop service increased by 9.6 per cent. Car equipments on the other hand, had a decrease of 0.9 per cent in the same period.

Corrections

The turnover for September and October is corrected. The correction is due to new and better task information. Total turnover for petrol stations is corrected up 0.3 and 0.5 per cent respectively.
