Sales for more than NOK 40 billion

The petrol stations sold for NOK 40.6 billion in 2006. This is NOK 2.7 billion, or 7.1 per cent, more than in 2005.

In 2006, the turnover of engine fuel and lubricant was NOK 29.9 billion, an increase of NOK 2.5 billion or 8.9 per cent compared to 2005. The petrol station sales of food service and everyday commodities rose by 8.0 and 1.1 per cent respectively last year. The turnover for these two groups was NOK 7.5 billion in 2006. Renting and workshop service and car wash increased by 14.2 and 10.7 per cent, while car equipment decreased by 1.3 per cent from 2005 to 2006.

Increased sales of food

From December 2005 till December 2006, the sales of food service and everyday commodities for petrol stations rose by 12.4 and 9.1 per cent respectively, while workshop service and car wash increased by 19.7 per cent. On the other hand, car equipment decreased by 5.3 per cent in the same period.

In total, the turnover for December rose by 3.2 per cent or NOK 98 million, compared to the same month in 2005.
