Up 1.3 per cent in March

Compared with March 2006, the turnover of petrol stations in Norway increased by 1.3 per cent, or NOK 42.3 million, in March this year. The total turnover was NOK 3.3 billion in March.

The turnover for engine fuel and lubricants decreased by 2.4 per cent, or NOK 58.6 million, in March this year compared with the same period last year. Food service and everyday commodities on the other hand, had an increase of 23.1 and 8.5 per cent respectively. By comparison, grocery shops in Norway had an increase of 10.7 per cent the same month.

NOK 9.3 billion in the first three months

The three first months this year, the petrol stations in Norway sold for NOK 9.3 billion. This is an increase of NOK 169.7 million, or 1.9 per cent, compared with the same period last year.

The turnover for January and February is corrected. The correction is due to new and better task information. In January, total turnover for petrol stations is corrected up 0.9 per cent, and less than 0.1 per cent in February.
