Up 3.8 per cent in April

Compared with April 2006, the turnover of petrol stations in Norway increased by 3.8 per cent, or NOK 123.9 million, in April this year. The total turnover was NOK 3.4 billion in April.

The turnover for engine fuel and lubricants increased by 3.4 per cent, or NOK 80.5 million, in April this year compared with the same period last year. Food service and everyday commodities had an increase of 10.9 and 7.2 per cent respectively. By comparison, grocery shops in Norway had an increase of 2.3 per cent the same month.

NOK 12.8 billion in the first four months

The four first months this year, the petrol stations in Norway sold for NOK 12.8 billion. This is an increase of NOK 436.8 million, or 3.5 per cent, compared with the same period last year.

The turnover for January, February and March is corrected. The correction is due to new and better task information. In January, total turnover for petrol stations is corrected up 0.9 per cent, 1.4 per cent in February and 2.2 per cent in March.
