Engine fuel for NOK 2.6 billion

The petrol stations in Norway sold engine fuel and lubricants for NOK 2.6 billion in October this year. This is NOK 127.4 million, or 5.1 per cent, more than in October 2006.

Engine fuel and lubricants makes 74.3 per cent of the total turnover for the petrol stations. Total turnover of engine fuel and lubricants in October makes NOK 3.6 billion. Workshop service and car wash rose by 30.7 per cent, while car equipment decreased by 3.6 per cent from October last year to October this year.

Ever more food service

During the ten first months this year, food service increased by 12.7 per cent. This is equivalent to an increase of NOK 217.2 million compared with the corresponding period last year. In the same period, the turnover of everyday commodities rose by 3.9 per cent.

From January to October this year, the petrol stations sold engine fuel and lubricants for NOK 26.1 billion. An increase of NOK 800 million, or 3.3 per cent, compared with the same period last year.
