Turnover rose by 8.2 per cent in January

Compared to January 2007, the turnover of petrol stations in Norway increased by 8.2 per cent or NOK 257 million in January this year. The total turnover was NOK 3.4 billion in January.

The turnover of engine fuel and lubricants accounted to NOK 2.6 billion, a rise of 12.0 per cent from January 2007. In the same period, workshop services and car wash rose by 6.1 per cent, while car equipment decreased by 17.9 per cent.

Increase for food services, decrease for everyday commodities

Sales of food service rose by 4.6 per cent from January last year to January this year, while everyday commodities decreased by 1.3 per cent in the same period.
