Retail sales at the same level in September
The seasonally-adjusted volume index of retail sales decreased by 0.1 per cent from August to September this year. This follows an increase of 0.6 per cent from July to August.

Grocery stores and sales of automotive fuel in specialised stores had an increase in sales volume from August to September this year. Stores selling sports equipment, clothing and shoes and sales via mail order and the Internet, however, showed a decrease from August to September.
Working-day adjusted figures show that retail sales rose by 1.3 per cent in the period July- September 2014 compared to the same three-month period in 2013.
