Slight decline in retail sales
The seasonally-adjusted volume index of retail sales decreased by 0.3 per cent from August to September this year. This follows an increase of 0.4 per cent from July to August.

The long-term trend shows a relatively flat trend back to the beginning of 2014.
Working-day adjusted figures show that retail sales decreased by 1,0 per cent in the period July-September compared to the same three-month period last year.
