Retail sales increased in October
The seasonally-adjusted volume index of retail increased by 0.9 per cent from September to October this year. This follows a decrease of 0.3 per cent from August to September.

The long-term trend shows a relatively flat trend back to the beginning of 2014.
Working-day adjusted figures show that retail sales decreased by 0.5 per cent in the period August-October compared to the same three-month period last year.
