High growth in turnover

Turnover increased by 14.5 per cent in real estate, renting and business activities (Section K) from the second quarter of 2005 to the second quarter of 2006.

Computer and related activities had a 16.5 per cent increase from the second quarter of 2005 to the second quarter of 2006. Within other business activities, the increase was 13.5 per cent in the same period.

This is the first time that Statistics Norway publishes preliminary figures. We only publish total figures for section K and the two divisions computer and related activities, and other business activities. Next publication (in approximately three weeks) will contain figures at a more detailed level.
