Growth in administrative activities

In total, the turnover for establishments within administrative and support service activities rose by 9.5 per cent from the 3rd quarter of 2010 to the 3rd quarter of 2011. The strong growth within employment activities, of 20.8 per cent, had a major impact on the total.

Travel agencies and tour operators also experienced a large increase in turnover from the 3rd quarter of 2010 to the 3rd quarter of 2011, of 11.6 per cent. For security and investigation activities, the turnover increased by 6.7 per cent in the same period.

Professional, scientific and technical activities 5.8 per cent higher

The establishments within professional, scientific and technical activities had an increase in turnover of 5.8 per cent from the 3rd quarter of 2010 to the 3rd quarter of 2011. The strong growth within management consultancy activities, of 15.9 per cent, made a strong contribution to this increase.

Real estate activities up 3.8 per cent

The turnover within real estate activities grew by 3.8 per cent from the 3rd quarter of 2010 to the 3rd quarter of 2011.
