Decreasing growth for employment activities

The turnover within employment activities increased by 5.2 per cent from the 3rd quarter of 2012 to the 3rd quarter of 2013. This is the lowest growth rate since the 2nd quarter of 2010.

The establishments within travel agencies and tour operators had the lowest growth in turnover since the 4th quarter of 2011, by 0.7 per cent compared to the same quarter in the previous year.

In total, the establishments within administrative and support service activities had an increase in turnover from the 3rd quarter of 2013 to the 3rd quarter of 2013 by 5.7 per cent. This is the lowest growth rate within this area since the 4th quarter of 2009.

Professional, scientific and technical activities up 5.7 per cent

The establishments within administrative and support service activities experienced an increase in turnover by 5.7 per cent from the 3rd quarter of 2013 to the 3rd quarter of 2013. The highest growth rate was found within management consultancy, with 10 per cent. The establishments within advertising and market research experienced an increase of 8.9 per cent from the 3rd quarter of 2012 to the 3rd quarter of 2013, approximately the same as in the previous period. Establishments within scientific research and development experienced a decrease in turnover by 8.1 per cent in this period.

Real estate activities up 0.7 per cent

Turnover within real estate activities increased by 0.7 per cent from the 3rd quarter of 2012 to the 3rd quarter of 2013.
