Increase within technical activities
Seasonally-adjusted turnover within professional, scientific and technical activities increased by 2.6 per cent from the 4th quarter of 2015 compared to the 1st quarter of 2016. The turnover decreased by 0.7 per cent compared to the 1st quarter of 2015.

Increased turnover in areas such as legal and accounting activities, management consultancy activities and architectural and engineering activities contributed to the growth in the last quarter.
Stability for administrative and support service activities
According to seasonally-adjusted figures, the turnover increased by 0.1 per cent within administrative and support service activities from the 4th quarter of 2015 to the 1st quarter of 2016. Increased turnover in rental and leasing activities, security and investigation activities, services to buildings and landscape activities and office administrative, office support and other business support activities contributed positively to the increase, while a 6.7 per cent fall in turnover in labour services reduced the growth to 0.1 per cent. The decline in labour services is the largest since the 1st quarter of 2009.
Compared to the same quarter in 2015, the turnover decreased by 4.5 per cent.
Increase for real estate activities
Seasonally-adjusted turnover within real estate activities increased by 1.9 per cent from the 4th quarter of 2015 to the 1st quarter of 2016. Compared to the same quarter last year, turnover remained unchanged.
