Supply of personnel for construction has highest turnover

Enterprises that operate within employment activities had a total turnover of NOK 35.7 billion in 2014. Supply of personnel within construction had the largest turnover, with NOK billion 8.1, covering almost 23 per cent of the total turnover.

This is the first time that supply of personnel for construction has had the largest turnover within employment activities in these statistics. The turnover for supply of personnel for industry/manufacturing amounted to NOK 6.7 billion, which corresponds to nearly 19 per cent of the total turnover.

Architectural and engineering services for NOK 115.2 billion

Enterprises within architectural and engineering services had a total turnover in 2014 of NOK 115.2 billion. Engineering activities amounted to a total of NOK 66.6 billion covering almost 58 per cent of the total turnover. Engineering services within power projects had the largest turnover, with NOK 15 billion. The turnover for engineering services within industrial/manufacturing projects was NOK 11.9 billion in 2014. This is a decrease compared to 2013 when turnover totalled NOK 14.6 billion. The turnover for architectural services was NOK 6.1 billion in 2014.

Media representation services largest within advertising

The turnover within advertising services was NOK 19.6 billion in 2014. Services within media representation covered approximately 57 per cent of the activity, amounting to a total of NOK 11.1 billion. Media representation services through TV/radio had a total turnover of NOK 3.8 billion. Media representation services through the Internet exceeded services through printed media for the first time. Within advertising agencies, the total turnover was NOK 8 billion in 2015. The activity full service advertising had the largest turnover within the advertising agencies, with NOK. 3.2 billion.
