NOK 2.3 billion for repairs

The local kind-of-activity units within repair of computers and personal household goods had a turnover of NOK 2.3 billion in 2012. This is an increase of 5.3 per cent compared to 2011.

The number of people employed and number of units were approximately unchanged. The two groups repair of computers and communication equipment and repair of personal household goods had a turnover of NOK 1.2 billion and NOK 1.1 billion respectively in 2012.

NOK 8.7 billion for hairdressing and beauty treatment

The largest class within other service statistics is hairdressing and beauty treatment, which had a total turnover of NOK 8.7 billion in 2012, an increase by 4.4 per cent compared to 2011. Number of units increased by 1.9 per cent, to a total of 7 639. The employment was approximately the same as in 2011, with a total of 16 635 persons.

Units within washing and dry-cleaning of textile and fur products had a total turnover of NOK 2.3 billion, an increase of 2 per cent compared to 2011. The employment increased by 3.6 per cent to a total of 2 759 persons.

The gross investments within other service statistics were NOK 443 million in 2012.
