Preliminary figuresPreliminary figures for structural business statistics are only published on enterprise level. In general, the figures for enterprises will show other values than the figures for local kind-of-activity units. This is due to the fact that an enterprise registered with its main activity in one industry may have local kind-of-activity units in other industries. Only figures for number of enterprises, persons employed and turnover on a 3-digit industry level are published. The data are not as thoroughly revised as they will be at the publishing of the final figures in May 2009. Deviation between preliminary and final figuresComparison between preliminary and final figures in 2005 and 2006 shows that the final figures for number of enterprises in wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and domestic appliances have been 0.5 and 1.4 per cent lower respectively. The final figures for turnover was 0.1 per cent and 0.3 per cent lower. The employment figures was 0.8 and 1.0 per cent lower at the final figures these two years. |

Additional information
The statistics have figures for both local KAUs and enterprises, but preliminary figures are published only on enterprise level.
The figures for enterprises will deviate from the figures for local KAUs. The reason is that enterprises that are registered with principal activity in one industry may have local KAUs with activities in other industries.
