The turnover in the structure statistics is exclusive of VAT.

The structure statistics are published both at enterprise and local kind-of-activity units level, as Statistics Norway has access to more detailed accounting information at enterprise level. The turnover at the local kind-of-activity level is somewhat higher than the turnover at the enterprise level, because some local kind-of-activity units in the wholesale and retail trade belong to enterprises that are not part of the wholesale and retail trade.
520 billion in agency and wholesale trade

About NOK 5 billion of this decrease is due to improved distribution of turnover between the manufacturing industry and the wholesale and retail trade in 2002 than in 2001. Employment declined by 2 400 people, while the local kind-of-activity units increased by about 100. Wage costs and investments amounted to NOK 40.5 and 4.2 billion respectively.

Additional information
The statistics have figures for both local KAUs and enterprises, but preliminary figures are published only on enterprise level.
The figures for enterprises will deviate from the figures for local KAUs. The reason is that enterprises that are registered with principal activity in one industry may have local KAUs with activities in other industries.
