High turnover in hairdressing
Turnover in hairdressing and beauty service industry is still high. In the 5. period (September-October) 2000 total turnover from the industry was NOK 690 million, an increase of NOK 51 million or 6 per cent compared with 5. period 1999.
Total turnover in the hairdressing and beauty service industry was NOK 3,4 billion from january to september. This is a NOK 270 million, or 8.6 per cent, increase from the previous year. The turnover is exc. VAT.
Turnover in washing and dry-cleaning industry rose by 4.0 per cent in the five first periods of year 2000 compared to the year before. Funeral and related activities had a similar growth.
