Service activities up 5 per cent

The total turnover for the hair dressing and the washing- and dry cleaning industy increased by 5 per cent from the first period 2000 to the first period 2001.

The total turnover for the hair dressing industry was NOK 653 million in 1st period 2001, up 33 million compared with 1st period 2001. The washing- and dry cleaning industy had an increase in total turover of NOK 12 million in the same period.

The funeral industry experienced a drop of 21 per cent in the total turnover fram NOK 110 million i 1st period 2000 to NOK 86 million i 2000.
