Stable turnover in Service Statistics

The turnover in washing and dry cleaning of textile and fur products and hairdressers and beauty salons is virtually unchanged from the 4th period of 2002 to the same period this year. The industry funeral and related activities had an increase in turnover of 2 per cent in the same period.

The turnover in washing and dry cleaning of textile and fur products in the 4th period (July and August) of 2003 was NOK 284 million. This is NOK one million more than in the same period last year.

For the industry hairdressing and other beauty treatment the turnover in the 4th period of 2003 was NOK 762 million. This is NOK one million less than in the corresponding period of 2002.

The industry that shows an increase in turnover is funeral and related activities. This industry had a turnover of NOK 130 million in the 4th period of 2003. Compared to the same period in 2002, this is an increase of NOK 3 million.
