Hair and beauty for NOK 5 billion
The turnover in hairdressing and other beauty treatment was almost NOK 5 billion in 2003. This yearly turnover is 4.7 per cent higher than in 2002.
Corresponding figures for the industry funeral and related activities show a turnover of NOK 812 million, equivalent to an increase of 2.5 per cent compared with 2002. The turnover within washing and dry cleaning of textile and fur products was 1.6 billion in 2003, an increase of 2.4 per cent compared with the previous year.
The businesses within hairdressing and other beauty treatment had a turnover of NOK 927 million in the 6th period of 2003. This is an increase in the turnover by 6.1 per cent compared with the same period the previous year. Funeral and related activities had a turnover of NOK 151 million in the 6th period of 2003, a decrease of 1.9 per cent compared with the same period in 2002.
The turnover in washing and dry cleaning of textile and fur products in the 6th period of 2003 was NOK 270 million, and represents an increase of 5.9 per cent.
