Hair and beauty towards NOK 1 billion
The turnover in hairdressing and other beauty treatment was NOK 901 million in May and June this year (third period). This is 3 per cent higher than in the corresponding period of 2003. In the first half of 2004 the turnover was NOK 2.5 billion, an increase of 5 per cent compared with the corresponding period of 2003.
Washing and dry cleaning of textile and fur products had a turnover of NOK 274 million in the third period of 2004, down 2 per cent from the corresponding period of 2003. Turnover for the first six months of this year reached NOK 798 million, a 2 per cent increase compared with the first half of 2003.
Funeral and related activities had a turnover of NOK 137 million in May and June, an increase of 3 per cent compared with the corresponding period in 2003. In the first half of 2004 the turnover was NOK 409 million. This is an increase of 4 per cent compared with the first six months of 2003.
