Modest increase within hair and beauty

In March and April 2006, the turnover in hairdressing and other beauty treatment was NOK 947 million. This is an increase of 1 per cent compared with the same period in 2005. The growth has not been lower since 1999.

Funeral agencies and businesses in related activities had a turnover of approximately NOK 145 million in March and April. This is a decrease of 7 per cent compared with the same period in 2005.

The turnover in washing and dry cleaning of textile and fur products was NOK 274 million in March and April of 2006, a 2 per cent increase compared with the same period in 2005.
