Spending on services continues to increase

In July and August 2006, the turnover in hairdressing and other beauty treatment was NOK 942 million. Compared with the same period in 2005, this was an increase of 4 per cent.

Service statistics. NOK million

The turnover in washing and dry cleaning of textile and fur products was NOK 305 million in July and August of 2006, and went up 5 per cent compared with the same period in 2005.

Funeral agencies and businesses in related activities had a turnover of approximately NOK 147 million in July and August. This was an increase of 1 per cent compared with the corresponding months last year.
