We spend more money on hair and beauty
The turnover in hairdressing and other beauty treatment was NOK 6.1 billion in 2006. This is 5 per cent higher than in 2005.
In the sixth period (November and December) of 2006, hairdressers and other beauty treatment businesses had a turnover of NOK 1.2 billion. This is an increase of 6 per cent compared with the same period in 2005.
Washing and dry-cleaning of textile and fur products had a turnover of NOK 1.8 billion in 2006. This is a growth of 6 per cent compared with 2005. In November and December 2006 the turnover was NOK 305 million, a 7 per cent increase compared with the corresponding period in 2004.
Funeral agencies and businesses in related activities had a turnover of NOK 934 million in 2005. This represents an increase of 5 per cent compared with the turnover in 2005. In the sixth period of 2006, the turnover was NOK 182 million, a growth of 10 per cent compared with the same period in 2005.
