NOK 7.2 billion on hair and beauty in 2008
The turnover within hairdressing and other beauty treatment was NOK 7.2 billion in 2008.This is 7 per cent higher than in 2007.
In November and December of 2008 the turnover within hairdressing and other beauty treatment was NOK 1 316 million. This is an increase of 4 per cent compared with the same period in 2007.
Washing and dry cleaning of textile and fur products had a turnover of NOK 2.1 billion in 2008. This is a growth of 6 per cent compared with 2007. The turnover in the sixth period was NOK 338 million - an increase of 2 per cent compared with the same period in 2007.
Funeral and related activities had a turnover of NOK 1.1 billion in 2008 - an increase of 7 per cent compared with 2007. In the sixth period of 2008, the turnover was NOK 208 million. This is an increase of 9 per cent compared with the same period in 2007.
Important announcement: New classification being implemented shortlyFrom January 2009, a new version of Norwegian industry classification (SIC2007) will be used. The classification is in accordance with the EC’s new NACE rev.2 classification. The statistics on turnover for personal services will be influenced from the publication of the numbers for the 1s t period of 2009, which will take place in May 2009.
