Wholesale sales up NOK 7 billion
Sales by wholesalers increased by NOK 7 billion in January and February 2005 compared with the same period in 2004. This is equivalent to an increase of 8.4 per cent.
The figures do not include value added tax.
Sales of motor vehicles rose by NOK 650 million, or 4.9 per cent, in the first two months of this year compared with the same period last year.
Retail sales with the exception of motor vehicles and petrol increased by NOK 693 million in the first two months of 2005 compared with the same period in 2004. This is equivalent to an increase of 1.9 per cent.
