Wholesales up NOK 13.5 billion
Sales by wholesalers increased by NOK 13.5 billion in January and February 2006 compared to the same period in 2005. This is equivalent to an increase of 14.9 per cent.
Retail sales - with the exception of motor vehicles and petrol - increased by NOK 2 billion in the first to months of 2006 compared with the same period in 2005. This is equivalent to an increase of 5.2 per cent.
Sales of automotive fuel rose by NOK 637 million, or 11.9 per cent, in the first to months this year compared with the same period last year.
The figures do not include value added tax.
