Strong growth in turnover

The turnover within the industries for trade and repair of motor vehicles and sales of energy fuel increased by 17.8 per cent from the first quarter of 2006 to the first quarter of 2007.

For wholesale trade except agency there was a growth of 4.9 per cent in the same period.

The preliminary numbers for NACE 50 and 51 are published as indices of value, and at two-digit sector level only. Next publication (22 June 2007) will contain figures at a more detailed level and they will be published in NOK.
