Wholesale and retail trade sales statistics, 3rd period 2007

In May and June 2007 the retail sales rose by NOK 4.6 billion or 9.1 per cent compared with the same period last year.

Wholesale up 8.7 per cent

Wholesalers sold for 8.7 per cent more the first six month this year. In May and June wholesale rose by 7.2 per cent.

Good sale of motor vehicles

Compared with the same period last year, sales of motor vehicles rose by NOK 8.1 billion, or 16.1 per cent the first six month this year. In May and June the growth was 13.0 per cent.

The figures do not include value added tax.
