More sales of motor vehicles

The turnover within the industries for trade and repair of motor vehicles and sales of energy fuel increased by 11.6 per cent from third quarter 2006 to third quarter 2007. For wholesale there was a growth of 6.2 per cent the same period.

The preliminary numbers for NACE 50 and 51 (see text table) are published as indices of value, and at two-digit sector level only. Next publication (18. December) will contain figures at a more detailed level and they will be published in NOK.
