Decrease in sales of motor vehicles

The turnover for industries within the trade and repair of motor vehicles and sales of energy fuel decreased by 5.1 per cent from the third quarter of 2007 to the third quarter of 2008. In the same period, the turnover for wholesale industries rose by 11.1 per cent.

The preliminary figures for NACE 50 and 51 are published as quarterly indices of value, and at two-digit sector level only.
