Decrease in wholesale trade

The turnover for wholesale industries decreased by over 7 per cent from the third quarter of 2008 to the third quarter of 2009. In the same period, the turnover for industries within the trade and repair of motor vehicles was approximately stable.

The preliminary figures for NACE 45 and 46 are published as quarterly indices of value, and at two-digit sector level only. The next publication (18 December 2009) will contain bimonthly figures at a more detailed level and will be published in NOK. See also bimonthly figures under “ Previous articles ”.
