Continued increase of motor vehicles

Turnover within the trade and repair of motor vehicles increased by 20 per cent from the second quarter last year to the second quarter this year. Compared to the first quarter this year there was a 12 per cent increase. Growth for wholesale industries was 7 per cent from the second quarter 2009 to the second quarter 2010.

The preliminary figures for NACE 45 and 46 are published as quarterly indices of value, and at two-digit sector level only. The next publication, on 7 September, will contain bimonthly figures at a more detailed level and will be published in NOK. See also bimonthly figures under “ Previous articles ”.
