Retail sales for NOK 200 billion
The turnover in retail sales was just above NOK 200 billion during the first six months of 2012. This constitutes an increase of just above NOK 10 billion or 5.4 per cent from the same period last year.
By comparison, the Index of retail sales showed an increase of 5.5 per cent during the same period.
Trade and repair of motor vehicles up 2.0 per cent
The total sales of motor vehicles and repair of motor vehicles were NOK 96.3 billion during the first six months of 2012; a growth of 4.0 per cent compared to the same period last year.
Wholesale increases by 5.0 per cent
The turnover in wholesale was NOK 405 billion during the first six months of 2012. This is an increase of almost NOK 21 billion or 5.4 per cent compared to the same period in 2011.
