Sales of motor vehicles up 9 per cent

Turnover within the trade and repair of motor vehicles increased by 3 per cent from the third quarter to the fourth quarter of 2010. Compared to the fourth quarter of 2009, there was a 9 per cent increase.

Turnover for wholesale increased almost 2 per cent in the fourth quarter of 2010 compared to the same period in 2009.

The preliminary figures for NACE 45 and 46 are published as quarterly indices of value, and at two-digit sector level only.
