Motor vehicles up

Trade and repair of motor vehicles had an increase in turnover of 3 per cent from the third quarter to the fourth quarter of 2011 (seasonally adjusted).

The unadjusted turnover index shows an increase in turnover by 8 per cent from the 4th quarter of 2010 to the 4th quarter of 2011.

Growth for wholesale industries was 9 per cent in the 4th quarter of 2011 compared to the same period the year before.

The preliminary figures for NACE 45 and 46 are published as quarterly indices of value, and at two-digit sector level only. The next publication, on 29 February, will contain bimonthly figures at a more detailed level and will be published in NOK. See also bimonthly figures under “ Previous articles ”.
