Growth in wholesale industries

The seasonally-adjusted sales index of wholesale industries shows an increase of 2.8 per cent from the 1st quarter to the 2nd quarter of 2014, and turnover was 6.5 per cent higher than the year before.

Trade and repair of motor vehicles had an increase in turnover of 0.9 per cent from the 1st quarter to the 2nd quarter of 2014, according to preliminary seasonally-adjusted figures. Compared to the 2nd quarter last year, turnover showed growth of 5.6 per cent this year.
