Retail sales for NOK 142 billion
The turnover in retail sales was almost NOK 142 billion in the first four months of 2016; an increase of 2.6 per cent from the same period in 2015.

By comparison, the Index of retail sales showed an increase of 2.5 per cent during the same period. Online shopping had an increase in turnover of NOK 603 million, or 12.9 per cent from the year before.
In March and April (second period), the retail sales had a turnover of almost NOK 74 billion; an increase of 2.2 per cent compared to the second period last year.
Trade and repair of motor vehicles
Sales and repair of motor vehicles were nearly NOK 78 billion in the first four months of 2016; a growth of 9.7 per cent compared to the same period in 2015.
In the second period, the sales and repair of motor vehicles increased by 9.5 per cent compared to the same period in 2015.
Wholesale of NOK 290 billion
The turnover in wholesale was NOK 290 billion in the first four months of this year. This is an increase of 5.4 per cent from the same period last year.
In the second period, the wholesale-turnover was 4.1 per cent more than the same period in 2015.
