Six out of ten limited companies have one shareholder
Six out of ten public and private limited companies had only one shareholder per 1 January 2013. Only 0.3 per cent of the companies had over 100 shareholders.

The share of companies with only one shareholder has increased in recent years. In 2006, less than half of the companies had only one shareholder.
Many companies with only personal shareholders
Fifty-seven per cent of the companies had only personal shareholders. Thirty per cent were owned by companies. The remainder of the companies had other constellations of owners.
