Decrease in the number of new enterprises

40 181 new enterprises were registered in the first three quarters of 2007. This is a decrease of 2.8 per cent compared with the same period in 2006.

Over 94 per cent of the new enterprises in the third quarter of 2007 are newly established. This is an increase of 2.5 per cent compared with the first two quarters this year.
