11 858 new enterprises

A total of 11 858 new enterprises were registered in Norway in the third quarter of 2011.

About 60 per cent of the new enterprises were sole proprietorships, while about 30 per cent were private public companies.

A total of 14.5 per cent of the new enterprises were within construction.

The figures include all enterprises except enterprises involved in agriculture, forestry, fishing or public administration. These figures can be found in StatBank by economic activity code, legal form, county and municipality.
