Assessable income of NOK 614 billion
Non-personal taxpayers had NOK 614 billion in assessable income in 2012. Of that, financial companies accounted for NOK 103 billion and non-financial companies NOK 506 billion.

Total deductions in income amounted to NOK 373 billion in 2012, of which financial companies received NOK 45 billion and non-financial received NOK 324 billion.
Ordinary income
In 2012, ordinary income for companies stood at NOK 242 billion, of which non-financial companies contributed 75 per cent, or NOK 182 billion, and financial companies NOK 58 billion. The companies had NOK 339 billion in positive income in 2012, with financial sector companies achieving NOK 69 billion and their non-financial sector counterparts NOK 268 billion.
Changes in the statistics basis
As from the fiscal year 2012, the population has been expanded and covers all non-personal taxpayers except fund and asset management and companies that are assessed pursuant to the Petroleum Tax Act. The expansion and a new institutional sector classification as from the fiscal year 2012 affect comparability with the previous years.
